ROMANTICISM

CLASSICAL AGE

Classical Age (1750-1820)
Composers and musicians move ahead and shook the dust of what Barroque Age left behind, that means they picked up the classical Greece customs.

At that time, VIENNA became the palace of music and attract composers from many places. Here is when great composers develop the standard musical frame. The classical Age is the cream of the music.
Most important genius of music gave to the world SYMPHONIES, SONATAS AND STRING QUARTETS.  WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART AND LUDWIG VAN BEETHOBEN were the best composers of this time.

BARROQUE AGE

The Barroque Age(1600-1750)
The Baroque Age is an important period of time where the music succeeds on many different ways.  Many composers began to develop a significant music improvements one of them was JOHAN SEBASTIAN BACK.
At this time many monarchs employed musicians and composers to create and play music for many different occasions.  The OPERA was born on the late Barroque Age and some of the composers of this category were CLAUDIO MONTEVERDI ANTONIO VIVALDI, DOMENICO SCARLATTI and others.

RENAISSANCE

DARK AGE

Dark Age(500-1200)

Europe start the 5th century with the collapse of Roman Empire and a period Known as "The Dark Age" The name says everything because was marked by absence of common urban life and Roman Emperor, all this due to a constant wars.

After nine centuries of this Dark time the religion emerged as a governor and this is the beginning of several years of domination. The Church modifies Jewish and Byzantine religious choirs to create the GREGORIANT CHANT.  POPE GREGORY (590-604) made these changes.
